Advance Care Planning
Speak with our virtual advisor Victor about controlling the timing of your death.
Fully Informed Advance Care Planning includes understanding your end-of-life options. Voluntarily Stopping Eating and Drinking (VSED) is an option for mentally capable adults, ideally with medical guidance and support. Medical Aid in Dying (MAID) requires a terminal illness with a prognosis of six months or less, decision-making capacity, and the ability to self-administer medication prescribed by a clinician. It is authorized in 13 states and the District of Columbia, with requirements varying by state.
Our free virtual advisor Victor can answer many questions about VSED and MAID.
